Project 2 - Shooting Practice & Editing

Pre-Production | Week 4

Crew Meeting & Location Hunting

In this project, we had to recreate a Thailand Samsung Note ad. called About Forgiveness. We are then divided into 2 groups and were given storyboards to refer to for this project. We also had to discuss among our group members for the roles.

The following is the storyboard provided by Mr. Martin. Our group got the 'HER' scenes.

Production | Week 5

We started the shooting at 8:00 AM and finished at 1:00 PM.




Post-Production | Week 6-8

Video & Sound Editing 

We then select the best shots and compile it in Premiere Pro.


We then also have to clear the background noise of the dialogs recorded from the boomer. The ambient sound of each scene should also be inserted. To achieve the desired result, we use the techniques that have been taught in class previously. Such as Parametric Equalizer, Reverb and etc.

After showing it to Mr. Razif, he suggested me to add sound for taping gestures such as tapping and writing. I then recorded the sound and applied it to the video.



Colour Grading

Mr. Martin taught us how to colour grade our video with reference to the video given.

We then continued with our first project, Troublemakers Manifesto key artwork. Lecture 8: - 21.05.19 (Week 8) No lecture today. We continued with our key artwork and started developing our collateral. Instruction Project 1 - The Troublemakers Manifesto (Key Artwork) In this project, we were expected to create a key artwork of an upcoming conference called The Troublemakers Manifesto: A Design Colloquium . The key artwork will later be used across the collaterals.
