28.08.18 - 09.10.18 (Week 1 - Week 8) Tamara Audrey Saputra (0335846) Digital Photography and Imaging Exercises Instruction Week 1: Hearst Mansion 28.08.18 Our very first class started with Mr. Hafiz and Mr. Jeff briefing us about what to expect by the end of the semester. 27.08.18 - 29.11.18 (Week 1 - Week 14) Tamara Audrey Saputra (0335846) Design Principles Exercises & Projects Lectures Lecture 1: Contrast 27.08.18 (Week 1) We began our first class with an introduction to the module which was followed by a lecture on contrast. Contrast is one of the design principles of art. It refers to the arrangement of opposite elements (colors, lines, etc) in order to create intriguing visuals. Werkman (right) By the end of the class, we were given the assignment to create a piece that resembles contrast. Using any pen, marker, or pen on an A4 paper. Black and white. On my first attempt, I decided to draw a semi-realistic portrait using a pen as I'm comfortable with it. Here, the contrast lies in the composition. However, to me, the final result doesn't seem to fit in
